Position Highlights

We are looking for a casual Clerk to provide support within our Plant Services and Construction team at various Facilities Maintenance and Operations sites, including White Rock and Delta, B.C.
Your specific duties will include:
- Establish and maintain filing systems; maintain departmental manuals as required.
- Perform data entry and data retrieval services by opening and closing work orders for demand and preventative maintenance on a computerized system, including data base entry.
- Answer telephones and take messages for the Manager, Plant Services.
- Maintain Plant Service Department purchase order system.
- Maintain schedules of meetings and appointments; type minutes of departmental staff/committee meetings as required.
- Assist with maintenance of payroll time sheets, vacation, sick leave, staff call-book and other records and ensure time sheets are forwarded to the Payroll Department.
- Maintain records such as supply and equipment inventories and departmental statistics on a computerized program.
We are looking for you to have:
- Completion of Grade 12
- Two (2) years of recent related experience
- Ability to type 60 WPM
- Ability to travel to multiple sites as required
An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
