Position Highlights

We hire great people for outstanding jobs and need your help to expand the ability to deliver prompt and professional service. We are looking for a casual Clerk to provide support within our Plant Services and Construction team at various Facilities Maintenance and Operations sites, including White Rock and Delta, B.C.

Your specific duties will include:

  • Establish and maintain filing systems; maintain departmental manuals as required.
  • Perform data entry and data retrieval services by opening and closing work orders for demand and preventative maintenance on a computerized system, including data base entry.
  • Answer telephones and take messages for the Manager, Plant Services.
  • Maintain Plant Service Department purchase order system.
  • Maintain schedules of meetings and appointments; type minutes of departmental staff/committee meetings as required.
  • Assist with maintenance of payroll time sheets, vacation, sick leave, staff call-book and other records and ensure time sheets are forwarded to the Payroll Department.
  • Maintain records such as supply and equipment inventories and departmental statistics on a computerized program.

We are looking for you to have:

  • Completion of Grade 12
  • Two (2) years of recent related experience
  • Ability to type 60 WPM
  • Ability to travel to multiple sites as required

An equivalent combination of education, training and experience is acceptable.
