Project Manager, Digital Printing
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a passionate PMP project manager to lead the CSR/Project Manager teams and make an impact on our production process and customer services. The client is the industry leader in their own domain.
Procurement Manager Job Duties:
- Collaborating and coordinating with professionals, vendors, contractors and team members.
- Facilitate client briefings to receive and clarify project briefs
- Produce project estimates, including spec gathering & testing, and added to new items
- Run all aspects of construction projects from start to finish - plan, schedule, organize, direct, control and evaluate – according to plans, schedule, specifications and budget.
- Develop all campaigns based on briefed requirements (build of distribution lists using query-based database tool, generation of production and kitting reports, and maintenance of associated inventory)
- Create, review and distribute production documents as required and prioritize scheduling to ensure requirements are met
- Act as a liaison between Production, Kitting, Shipping, and Outside Suppliers being the key contact on a daily basis for all production issues
- Maintain invoicing for all projects, including the capture of all additional billable charges
- Facilitate all scheduled and ad-hoc reports required by the client, including inventory, ordering, invoicing and KPIs
- Coordinate all jobs making sure all relevant information is transferred from the estimate to the job Docket
- Follow through on all signing off of proofs, samples and die lines
- Offer technical support for job-flow management, outsourcing details, & referrals
- Convey vital info of current job status and incoming work during production meetings
- Track all live orders through the production process throughout the day
- Schedule and coordinate press/bindery QC checks
- Initiate updates of timelines to customers and provide ready solutions to inquiries
- Close off each Job Docket with accounting including all shipping/logistics costs
- Offer fellow Account Coordinators your assistance and support whenever needed
- Be available and connected to the company and the production staff while offsite
- Represent Glenmore Printing in a professional manner to all current customers and potential customers
Procurement Manager Mandatory Skills:
- Post-secondary education with minimum Four (4) years related experience in digital print production and account services,
- Project Management Certification, e.g., PMP or trackable project management experience is a must
- Knowledge of in-store marketing execution and digital print process and substrates
- Knowledge of inventory management systems, kitting/distribution processes & creative workflows
- Strong skills in PC-based software applications, particularly Word and Excel
- Superior oral and written communications skills and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple jobs simultaneously & managing prioritization of issues on a daily basis
