Under the direction of the Manager, Marketing at Hard Rock Casino Vancouver, the Coordinator, Marketing is responsible for providing support for the delivery of direct mail and email campaigns, print production, multi-property promotional needs, Encore program coordination and general marketing needs for Hard Rock Casino Vancouver. A collaborative, team-oriented approach, along with a strong attention to detail, is key to success. Ensures adherence to all policies and procedures while contributing to a safe and welcoming work environment for all team members.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinates and produces direct mail campaigns which includes: working directly with a graphic designer on the creation of both slots and table games direct mail; organizing monthly segmentation of offers, development of copy, pricing, timely delivery and ensuring best in class fulfillment.
- Monitors and maintains budgets and directs invoicing for various campaigns
- Supports marketing related initiatives including ensuring accurate property tracking and technology utilization
- Supports the casino's media buying initiatives, including the strategy and execution
- Coordinates weekly eDM execution; including copywriting, verification of content, and scheduling
- Sources and coordinates promotional merchandise, signage and prizing as needed
- Acts as a BCLC resource through the setup of EBS and CMP
- Supports properties for special events as needed
- Communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Develops strong working relationships with all stakeholders: guests, management, employees, vendors, sponsors, community organizers and regulators
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Supports and executes social media strategy for Hard Rock Casino Vancouver
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed
Qualifications:
- Legendary guest service skills with a "Make it Happen" attitude
- Understanding of yourself and others when communicating with team members and guests
- A passion for providing Rockin' It Service to our external and internal guests in the quest of achieving service excellence

- 1-3 years of experience in marketing
- Post-secondary degree, ideally in marketing or related field
- Excellent computer literacy with strong competency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Experience working with WordPress an asset
- Experience working with life-cycle marketing campaigns an asset
- Strong team player and collaborative (solicits input to improve/enhance strategy and development)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with excellent interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail is essential
- Organized and efficient with a strong work ethic
