Business Intelligence Analyst
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst. The client is among the world top 5 in their own domain.
In this role, you will be the primary overseer and adoption driver of our Enterprise Business Intelligence platform – Qlik Sense.
This position combines aspects of business analysis with a focus on data analysis, data collection and consolidation from various systems. It includes business and requirements analysis with key internal stakeholders, system administration, project management, data mining, trend analysis, report writing, dashboard design, tool development, training and documentation for many departments in our organization.
Business Intelligence Analyst Job Duties:
- Provide quality and timely BI solutions to solve complex business needs
- Define detailed data requirements and analytics specifications through discussion and investigation with business stakeholders
- Collaborate on database/ETL design and architecture
- Administer, architect and secure our enterprise-wide footprint of Qlik Sense and Qlik NPrinting
- Support and train business users and identify deficiencies in processes, data quality, usability or accuracy
- Ensure that deliverables are functional, secure, well-performing, reliable, and flexible
- Guide, influence, and document the adoption of solutions with data owners and users
- Act as a point of contact for business functional teams concerning all related applications and report or interface changes
- Coordinate and conduct test cases and User Acceptance Testing
- Provide impact assessments based on requested changes
- Coordinate solution assessments based on business requests and priorities
Business Intelligence Analyst Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- Proven experience in process analysis, requirements gathering, and project management
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills and ability to provide creative solutions to problems and business challenges
- Experience interfacing with internal business partners and vendors to resolve issues and troubleshoot problems
- Demonstrated experience in data mining, predictive analysis, report, dashboard and interface design/development, and change management methodology
- Knowledge of relational/dimensional database design and architecture
- Service orientation with a focus on reliability, service-level delivery, and quality of deliverables
- Knowledge of test case creation, Quality Assurance, and User Acceptance Testing processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, skills of writing technical documentation
Desired Education, Experience & Skills
- Experience with architecture, configuration, security, and support of an enterprise wide Qlik Sense implementation, including Qlik NPrinting
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Business Intelligence stack
