About the Role:
The key responsibility of the Warehouse Worker is to act as the Tool "Crib" Manager. You are self-motivated and will manage all incoming and outgoing tools, machinery, and supplies. This is to ensure each employee and each company vehicle has the required stock in order for each job to run smoothly, on time, and with the right equipment.
Duties and responsibilities:
· Will work closely with the team
· Will identify possible concerns with equipment/supplies/machinery and will offer possible solutions
· Monitor the warehouse and manage inventory (via app)
· Build and maintain organizational tools or checklists
· Clean and repair tools
· Stocking trucks and tool boxes
· Organize team's tools/toolbox
· Maintain cleanliness of company vehicles, supplies and warehouse
· Deliver equipment to job sites as needed
About you:
You're experienced in our field or working in a warehouse and have strong organizational skills. You're able to work well with a team and by yourself. You're calm under pressure and can come up with good solutions. You're able to motivate yourself and always complete tasks on time and to expectations. You're looking for a company with proven success and growth on the island.
This role uses a variety of IT tools for communications, managing inventory and more.
Qualifications:
· 2 to 3 years in a similar role is preferred
· Construction and/or carpentry background is ideal
· Proven ability to manage stock and inventory
· Experience with hazardous material/asbestos
· Knowledge of Microsoft Word
· Clear verbal and written communications
· Strong time management and organization skills required
This position requires the successful applicant to have a driver's license with clean abstract, the ability to pass security clearance.
