Senior Accountant, CPA
On behalf of our client, Procom is currently seeking a senior accountant to help us build, optimize and maintain our finance and accounting process and procedures. The client is the industry leader in their own domain.
Senior Accountant, CPA Job Duties:
- Using the highest standards and practices to ensure financial documents comply with the law
- Collecting and verifying financial information
- Maintaining a general ledger by inputting daily financial transactions
- Directing other employees and bookkeepers (Leads account payable, receivable and outsourcing payroll team)
- Resolving financial problems, performing audits, and analyzing profit loss
- Preparing financial statements, producing accounting reports, and checking them for accuracy
- Increasing company revenues and boosting profits, cashflow
- Report to part-time CFO and CEO
Senior Accountant, CPA Mandatory Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required.
- Working in Manufacturing Industry will be a strong asset.
- Knowledge in Sage 50 Product.
- 7+ years of accounting experience.
- Working knowledge of tax laws and GAAP.
- CPA or working towards a CPA will be a strong asset.
- Strong financial analysis skills.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational and stress management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
- Ability to train and manage staff.
- Ability to work with little to no or little supervision.
