Virtual Events Support (Port Coquitlam)
We are a well established Event Management company with world wide clients.
We have have so many virtual events and conferences we need to deliver to our clients in the next several months that we need to find some additional people to help us out.
The people we are looking to speak with do not need to have any event planning background, or hands on experience with any special virtual event or streaming computer software.
We're looking for people who are calm under pressure, have exceptional customer service and communication skills and have good computer use knowledge.
The role is to interact with the session speakers before they "go on" and make sure they are up and running properly. For instance their camera is working, their microphone and speakers are working, they have the content they intend to deliver ready to go, etc.
Then you start their session, watch the session (some of the sessions we've been able to watch have been really interesting), answer any of the attendee questions about technical support in the chat, and close the session.
We want to find people with the right personality and foundations skills (typing, communication, etc,) first.
We can teach you how to use the technology, it's super simple.
This is an on call position, and the hours can be crazy. Because our clients are international, our team might need to start any time of the day or night 24 X 7.
8 - 20 hours per week depending on workload.
This is NOT a remote work position and full COVID19 protocols are always in place. You must have evidence of vaccination, and no symptoms, to enter our premises.
Part-time hours: 8 - 20 per week
