About the Opportunity
DC38 is currently looking for Hazardous Materials Abatement Technicians to join them in the Lower Mainland, BC.
As a Hazardous Materials Abatement Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of the workers and public during the renovation or demolition of existing structures. This will pave the way for upgrades and new developments. Training will be provided to ensure that as a unionized hazmat worker, you can safely and efficiently construct the containment needed to safely remove old flooring, pipes, and drywall containing Asbestos and/or other harmful substances.
No experience is required to apply for this role.
This role is well suited to individuals that can handle a physically demanding job, reliable, and focused on attention to detail and safety.
Please note you must be eligible to work in Canada in order to join DC38 as a Hazardous Materials Abatement Technician. You must also be clean-shaven, this is a health and safety requirement for wearing a respirator.
In exchange for your hard work and dedication, you will receive an attractive hourly wage inclusive of vacation pay. Increases will be based on hours worked and specialized training provided be DC38
