MEGA is currently looking for a regular, full-time Installation Technician to support countertop measuring and installation for all their regions – Greater Vancouver, Vancouver Island & Okanagan. Reporting to the Installation Manager, our ideal candidate will be experienced in measuring and installing laminate and other types of counters, in a fast-paced and competitive industry. At MEGA, our focus is on relationships, quality standards, as well as superior customer service, and our Installation Technician strongly influences our ability to respond to each of these aspects of our business. Finally, the successful applicant will have deep experience in the full installation process of cabinets and countertops.
Qualifications:
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- 1+ years of industry experience or related industries.
- Reliable and professional work ethic.
- Demonstrate professionalism.
- Demonstrate attention to detail.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Has basic math skills and an understanding of fractions.
- Capable of doing physical tasks and work (ability to hold and move 50-75 lbs).
- Ability to problem-solve.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal understanding of the English language.
- Access to tools and equipment.
- Ability to provide a current driver's license.
- Ability to provide a current Police or RCMP Criminal Record Check.
