As a Staff Clinician, Employee & Family Assistance Program, you will be an integral part of a collaborative team focused on delivering seamless services and programs to our clients and customers. This position is currently deemed Work from Home and will, in future, return to working from the Homewood office nearest you, in order to provide the required service to our clients, patients and customers. Your home office work environment will need to be safe by Occupational Health and Safety standards, quiet, with few distractions and overall conducive to working productively, effectively and confidentially. You will require consistent internet capability of at least 25 Mbps, and preferably 50 Mbps download speed. Your computer will be provided and, where a phone is required to perform your work, we will provide a phone.
What you'll be doing
* Deliver EFAP services including confidential counselling, case management, direct clinical services, and assessments
* Receive case assignments, establishes treatment plans, and completes case progress notes
* Develop service plans which outline a specific plan of action with each client under periodical supervision
* Complete a comprehensive psycho-social assessment on clients as needed
* Participate in in-house training as required
* Receive crisis calls from the Client Services Center as required
* Provide on call rotation availability for a 4-day period once every couple of months
What we're looking for
* Masters in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work or other related discipline
* Must hold valid registration with the relevant governing body
* Minimum 3 years counseling experience
* Experience in brief solution-oriented counselling
* Knowledge of assessment, crisis management, and EFAP services an asset
* Excellent verbal and written English skills are required
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Ability to proficiently use Microsoft Office & Outlook (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
