JOB TITLE: GENERAL LABOUR (Production Support)

POSITION SUMMARY: Reporting to the Production Manager, you will be responsible for housekeeping duties in a feed mill environment. You will be required to keep the facility clean and sanitary. You will also be expected to conduct all matters in a manner consistent with the company's Corporate Values of Innovation, Caring, Capable, and Collaboration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clean and maintain the facility as required by following housekeeping standards
- Work effectively and efficiently
- Comply with all safety training requirements and adhere to all safety protocols
- Cross-train in bagging role
- Provide coverage for team members who are absent or on breaks
- Perform other duties as required
MUST HAVE:
- Relevant experience within a feed mill or production setting is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and effectively meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to be coached and learn processes
- Ability to work at heights
- Self-starter who is able to work independently and with a team
- Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly bend and twist, open and close lids, climb ladders, and lift 50 pounds.
- Physical Work Conditions:
- Wear safety attire or protective gear on a daily basis.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Are often exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels.
- Are exposed to dusty environment.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Part-time/Full-time available; Unionized; Shift Work; Overtime required from time to time.
